Need help with Nomo?

If something's not working the way that it should, please let me know! I always try to respond to support issues within about 5-10 minutes. I do this on the side as a passion project, so family and work might delay the response time :)

Commonly asked questions:

  • TRY THIS FIRST: Make sure you have the most recent version of Nomo! I fix things all the time.
  • TRY THIS SECOND: Log out of your account and log back in. That fixes most problems. Please still shoot me a message to let me know that you got it working, but there was a problem at first.

  • Q. I never received my verification/confirmation email!
  • A. This happens from time to time (especially with Hotmail and Yahoo accounts). The email is getting caught up in a spam filter. Send me a message above using the email address that you registered with. I'll activate your account manually. Sorry for the hassle!

  • Q. The clock delete button doesn't work!
  • A. I just submitted an update regarding this problem. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience!

  • Q. How do I find accountability partners?
  • A. The ability to search for accountability partners will be released in a future update. It's on my list! For now, there are great sobriety groups on Facebook. Just post that you're looking of Nomo accountability partners and people will reply with their usernames. A really great one is run by Sober Movement.

  • Q. My accountability partner isn't showing up on my list, but they sent me a request. What do I do?
  • A. One thing that fixes most issues is simply logging out and logging back in. Even if it does fix a problem, please shoot me an message to let me know what happened. That way I can fix any bugs that need to be squashed before the next update.

  • Q. How do I reset my clock?
  • A. The Reset is just underneath the Share button on your clock. Once you tap it, a new window will appear that will ask you to select a new sobriety date. Resetting is never a good thing, but it is part of the process! We've all been there. Keep your head up and take another shot at it!

  • Q. How do I share a clock?
  • A. Clocks can only be shared with accountability partners who have first been approved in the Accountability Partners section. Once you have an approved partner, head to your clock and click on the Follower button just underneath the Check in button. This will open a new window where you can toggle switches to activate sharing for specific partners. If they have app notifications turned on, they'll receive a notification when you have shared your clock with them.
